I love the painting, and fabric! I’ve always had Border Collies, so they are perfect for me! The insert stuffing is a little lumpy. But i am very satisfied.
While in Mykonos we learned of houses that, originally, were "bird houses", set in the country or high on a hill, like this one. Traditional housing on the Cyclades group of Greek Islands, including Mykonos and Santorini varies from island to island and beyond. The houses on Mykonos are more traditional in their structure and those in Santorini are more native to the volcanic rock formations especially on the Caldera. This traditional house was actually a "bird house" a very large one at that, rescued by someone who saw the beauty and gave it back to the land in the form of a house for himself.
