Love this duvet cover in the Tree Fort Suite of the Elk View Lodge, Fernie, BC, Canada.
I painted this wonderful, well-known view of Santorini with this beautiful Church greeting all who visit the Island. Our hotel was just over the dome on the left and we, too, looked straight down 300-feet to the Aegean Sea, pas the volcanic rock covering the "caldera" or rim of the cliffs. This view was from a cafe, high up on the cliffs near the "tram" which takes people from the bottom of the cliffs to the top. The white dome of the Church stands out on the point of the Island as if it were a beacon, welcoming all who come. When you view the Island from the shore, the Island appears almost like a blanket of snow covering all the buildings. The Greek paint their buildings white, often, and we are so "happy for the view."
