This painting was painted with brush and knife with heavy texture on the walls and the patio is painted as if the stones have been embedded in the cement. I have changed, as I always do, many other things that I love to paint. The quiet patio, I believe is early in the morning. You can see long shadows cast by the tall rooftops, but soon the patio will be brighter, and the flowers will open up to bask in the sunlight. Many of the Geraniums, native to the Islands have been added providing color in the upper windows. I added one more for a small vase on the round table for those who would play checkers. I envision that this is where I would live. I would leave the windows and door...
