This is my first purchase from Fine Art America. I had an idea in my mind of what I wanted to hang in our newly renovated master bathroom wall. I searched all over the internet and then came upon Fine Art America online. It took months of searching but when I came upon Carol Robinson's collection I liked her style and soft, airy prints. I found Lost Horizon and knew right away that was the look I had been searching for. I like that I was able to choose the print size, frame, and mat that helped procure the look I wanted. The Original Oil Painting, “Veranda View", is sold. All Originals are viewed and sold with extra images at BaywoodGallery.com (copy/paste or type) I love painting the ocean, waves; the horizon, the occasional sailboat and all kinds of chairs. I also love to paint glass or the illusion of seeing through glass. The center portion of the painting, if you notice, is brighter because of the effect of no glass. Interior view to the outside can be challenging but very rewarding. When I finish a painting, like this one, I like to sit back and envision sitting on the veranda, sipping a glass of wine and feeling the occasional "Kiss" of the sea air.
If you think you are seeing double its because I have two different sized prints next to each other's listing. One is the original "taller" view and the other is the slightly "wider" view.
Some collectors of art may or may not view art according to size or the space they want to display their art in, but some just want it a lit...
