This is the most beautiful painting! I feel lucky and blessed that I came across it! My husband and I honeymooned in Mo’orea and we had taken many pictures in front of this church. To find that Greg Collins painted it was such a joy! We will treasure it forever!

I was super-pleased with my photo print purchase! Like many people, I’m sure, when making online purchases there’s always just a little voice of skepticism in the back of my mind. I knew I liked the image, but had to roll the dice that it would look good in person, the frame would be adequate, etc. I must say it exceeded even my hopeful expectations! First of all, the packing was stellar. The photo print did look great in person, and the framing was WAY better than I was expecting! It was ready to go with a sturdy hanging wire already in place. Unfortunately it was a gift, so I don’t have a photo of it on my wall! I did, however, open and inspect it before wrapping it and re-shipping (in the same stellar packing!). I would easily recommend FineArtAmerica and will happily shop with them again in the future…worry free!

The Original Oil Painting, “Santorini View", is available for purchased and can be viewed with extra images, enlarging portions of the Originals at BaywoodGallery.com There you can see images of the curved gallery wrap canvas, designed and cut for assemblage by the Artist and then hand stretched prior to Painting. It is further described below for Prints too.
While in Santorini I explored the "caldera" rim. Many traditional dwellings are carved from the lava cliffs. The rim sits above the Aegean Sea below. Viewing the cliffs from below you can see all of Santorini looking like a blanket of white along the rim. The centuries old volcano erupted leaving the rim. I hope viewers and collectors see the serenity Santorini allows me to paint and the unique way of life these structures hold. Space is limited, but people live very close and share patios, stairs and umbrellas. Don't forget to look for the umbrella behind the arched gateway on the outer veranda.
